KeelCash Privacy Policy
Version: 2026-09-14.1 · Last updated: September 14, 2026
Peak BPO LLC ("Peak BPO," "we," "us," or "our") operates KeelCash, a cash-flow forecasting and treasury management service available at keelcash.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your information when you use the Service, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy describes our data practices. Acknowledging it does not waive rights provided by applicable law.
Invited beta. KeelCash is in pre-release. Data handling during the beta is the same as described in this policy. See the Terms of Service and Beta Disclosures.
1. Who We Are
KeelCash is operated by Peak BPO LLC, a limited liability company. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at:
- Email: privacy@keelcash.com
- Mail: Peak BPO LLC, PO Box 59239, Norwalk, CA 90650
Peak BPO LLC is the data controller responsible for your information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a) Account information you provide. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you set up multiple business or personal entities within the Service, we collect the names and organizational details you enter.
b) Financial account data (via Plaid). To provide cash-flow forecasting, KeelCash connects to your bank and financial accounts through Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"), a third-party financial data provider. When you link an account, Plaid securely retrieves and shares with us: account names and types, provider account identifiers and masked account details, current and available balances, and transaction history (dates, amounts, descriptions, and counterparties). KeelCash does not receive or store your online banking username or password — those are handled directly by Plaid. Your use of Plaid is also governed by Plaid's own terms and privacy policy, available at plaid.com/legal and plaid.com/privacy.
c) Data you import. You may import financial records into KeelCash, such as payroll registers, journal entries, or other spreadsheets. We collect and store the contents of the files you choose to import.
d) Support, feedback, and acceptance records. We store feedback you submit, its type, page, app version, screen dimensions, and your user/workspace identifiers so we can investigate and respond. Authorized administrators can review beta admission, account activity, and feedback in Mission Control. We also store your user identifier, the document versions you accepted or acknowledged, the server-recorded time, and the authenticated submission method. Do not include passwords or full bank/card numbers in feedback.
e) Technical and usage information. When you use the Service, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security, debugging, and reliability purposes.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. KeelCash does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies. We use only strictly necessary cookies required to keep you securely logged in (see Section 8).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to operate and improve the Service, specifically to:
- Provide cash-flow forecasting, balance tracking, transaction reconciliation, and treasury reporting;
- Connect and sync your linked financial accounts through Plaid;
- Authenticate you and secure your account;
- Import and process the financial records you provide;
- Respond to your support requests;
- Maintain, debug, secure, and improve the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal or financial information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use your financial data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
a) Service providers (sub-processors). We use trusted third parties to operate KeelCash. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:
- Plaid Inc. — securely connects your financial accounts and provides account and transaction data. See plaid.com/legal and plaid.com/privacy.
- Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and secure data storage.
- Vercel — provides application hosting and delivery.
b) Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Peak BPO LLC, our users, or others.
c) Business transfers. If Peak BPO LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have.
We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell your information to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
You can request disconnection of a linked financial institution in the Service. A successful disconnect revokes our access at Plaid and removes the connection and its bank-sourced records from the active application. A failed operation may require retry or support; it is not a confirmation of deletion. User-created account configuration, imported/manual entries, and limited audit records can remain. For example, a deletion audit records who requested removal, when, and record counts without preserving the deleted bank payload. Previously created backups expire according to provider backup cycles rather than being erased immediately. Disconnecting KeelCash does not close your bank account or erase records held independently by Plaid or your bank.
During beta, account closure and broader deletion requests are handled through privacy@keelcash.com. We review the request, verify identity, and explain the scope and expected timing. We may retain limited security, acceptance, and audit records as needed for legal obligations, disputes, and security; we do not promise instant removal from backups. Applicable statutory response deadlines still apply.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your financial data seriously and apply safeguards proportionate to its sensitivity, including:
- Encryption in transit for all connections to the Service;
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) available on user accounts and enforced on administrative access;
- Tenant isolation — each customer's data is logically separated and access-controlled at the database level so one customer cannot access another's data;
- Least-privilege access — internal and automated systems are granted only the minimum access required to function;
- No storage of banking credentials — your bank login is never seen or stored by KeelCash; it is handled by Plaid.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we work continuously to protect your information and to promptly address any vulnerabilities.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Disconnect a linked financial institution through the Service, subject to the removal process and retained records described above;
- Opt out of any future marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@keelcash.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information. You may exercise your rights by contacting privacy@keelcash.com.
8. Cookies
KeelCash uses only strictly necessary cookies required to authenticate you and keep you securely logged in. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party analytics cookies. Because these cookies are essential to the Service, they cannot be disabled without preventing you from logging in.
If we introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and choices.
9. Communications
We send transactional messages necessary to operate the Service, such as security alerts, account notices, and responses to your requests.
We do not currently send marketing email. If we introduce marketing or promotional communications in the future, they will be sent only to users who opt in, and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe.
10. Children's Privacy
KeelCash is intended for use by adults and businesses. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
11. International Users
This beta is intended only for adults based in the United States using U.S. dollars. KeelCash is operated from the United States. Our providers may process technical and support information in locations where they operate; we do not promise that every processing activity occurs exclusively in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. When a new acknowledgment version is required, we will ask you to review it before continuing into the signed-in beta.
